Azul Treasure is a Brazilian quartzite offered in the US by MSI, sourced from Brazil and showing a dramatic mix of blue, gray, white, and beige with copper, gold, and silver-toned veins. It is a metamorphic quartzite, formed when quartz-rich sandstone recrystallized under heat and pressure into a hard, dense surface with strong resistance to scratches and etching. The name pairs the Portuguese 'Azul' (blue) with 'Treasure' to evoke the prized, jewel-like blues that run through the stone.
